Confession time. I have never read The Artist’s Way.

It’s been recommended often over the years. But something about it just didn’t speak to me. I have a tendency to bristle against prescriptive approaches. Which is perhaps an unfair thing to say, given that I haven’t read it.

Morning pages felt too rule-driven. My creativity doesn’t jump start at first…
