Welcome back to the first month of The Spark Crew here on Substack. Following our invitation to create a fortnight ago, this time around we’re looking at where it took us, which includes an opportunity to share any ideas, reflections or - if you’re feeling brave - a freshly drafted / painted / choreographed (I could keep going, but won’t), piece of your own.

And if you’re just catching up, there’s still plenty of time to join in. We’ll be continuing to chase the light until our next theme is announced at the beginning of December.

I am longing to know - where did the invitation to find the light take you?*

While you gather up your words and thoughts, I’ll share my process in responding to our theme. And then I’ll do the scary thing and pop the poem I wrote in here too.

* If the answer to this is nowhere fast, then no shame! We’re just getting started here, and establishing new practices takes time. Life has a habit of throwing all the curveballs, doesn’t it? But speaking from experience - if you keep showing up and stay open to creative experimentation, beautiful things will begin to happen.
